Por quinto año consecutivo, se llevará a cabo la Copa de Voleibol Huracán del Caribe. Contra viento y marea, este evento sigue acaparando el interés de la comunidad. Es una excelente oportunidad de compartir con la comunidad gay de otras cuidades estadounidenses en un compartir y confraterización genuino. Adjunto los datos más importantes sobre el evento.

DATES:

The Copa Huracán del Caribe 2004 Volleyball Tournament will take place on February 13-15, 2004 (Presidents' Weekend). This is the fifth NAGVA sanctioned tournament that will take place in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico.

FACILITY:


The games will take place at the Centro de Voleibol de Cupey Sports Complex located in Cupey, Río Piedras, Puerto Rico (road 199, close to Barbara Ann School).

DIVISIONS:

There will be the following divisions: B, BB, and A. We recommend you to get your registration in early since spaces are limited. This tournament is capped at 24 teams. B division is capped at 12 teams; BB division is capped at 8 teams; A division is capped at 6 teams.

AWARDS:

There will be awards for: teams that arrive in first, second and third place in each division; medals/trophies for members of each of these teams; MVP; All Star; and Best Defense.

OFFICIALS:

NAGVA Rule 6.01 states that all teams must provide a certified 1st referee for all matches. There will be an Officiating Clinic (reffing and scorekeeping clinic) on Friday, February 13, 2004, during the registration cocktail for anyone who needs to get certified. This clinic is free of charge. A written test will be given.

Será un fin de semana sin precedentes. Primero, el Día de la Amistad y el Amor se celebra durante ese fin de semana, y dos el lunes es día de fiesta por lo tanto, tremendo wikén largo para participar en esta quinta copa de voleibol.
